Review - Once Upon a Time

As a child, I loved hearing the classic fairy tales of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. I often imagined being one of the wonderful princesses, but after watching Once Upon a Time, I’m glad I wasn’t.
Read the review after the jump.
The show transforms the childhood fairy tales into modern life scenarios in a small town called Storybrooke, where the evil queen has transported the beloved characters with a curse.
Every week we enter a new fairy tale, that I can’t wait to sink my teeth into, following the life of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) who though certain circumstances (which I cannot reveal because it will give away the plot) ends up in Storybrooke.
The episodes are well written and quite easy to follow as they show the fairy tale side and the real life side of the stories. I also love how they have various fairy tale characters as waiters, pawn shop owners and therapists that are reoccurring characters.
I can’t wait to watch the Adventure/Drama Once Upon a Time every week and see the new twist on all of my favorite classic fairy tales.
