Micro Review: Darksiders II Death's Door Comic

We recently had a chance to read through Dark Horse's "Darksiders II Death's Door Vol 1," a collection of the Darksiders II Digital Comics issues #0-#5.

Read on to see what we thought!

Let me get this out of the way 1st.... Don't expect the beautiful artwork found in the game's marketing or artbooks.... this is a comic. It's not bad one bit, I just had to say that.

With that out of the way, on to our thoughts!

This story takes place before the events in the original Darksiders. Death is asked by Abbadon to destroy a demon that is wreaking havok in the human world.  In preparation of this journey without sanction from the Charred Council, we get to see some of the early days of this Nephalim and his brothers and sister.

We also get to see exactly how long the Corruption, the "entity" that is causing the issues in Darksiders II, has been lurking and building up to what we see in the game.

There really isn't much more I can say without spoiling the story, but if you are a fan of the games, buy the digital versions now for .99 cents each or the 64 page Printed Edition on December 19th for $12.99.

Either way, it's worth the read.
