Micro Review: Jägerbär

What happens when you re-imagine a children's classic as something darker and centered on revenge? No, I'm not talking about something cooked up by American Mcgee, but Jägerbär, based on Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.

Now in this 13 minute short, Emilia, played by Lacy Hannan, is held captive by 3 German speaking guys. As they leave to go hunting, Emilia escapes from her binds. The following couple of minutes, you see how she goes from a scared captive to a tool of vengeance. From there she prepares for the inevitable return of her captors and their punishment.

The short seems to be on the indie circuit right now, showing up at film festivals. At the moment, I am unsure if and when this will be able to be seen by the public outside of festivals, but if you get a chance to watch it, then do it.

Now, you may notice the lack of a review score. Simply put, I don't know what to rate it. At 13 minutes with the end credits, it just seems too short for me to score.
