Japanese PS4 Launch Information
THE US GETS A SONY SYSTEM BEFORE JAPAN!!!!!
February 22, 2014 is the Japan Launch Date.
PS4 1st Limited Pack. System, dl code for Knack, and 1 year extended warranty for the same price as the base system alone.
Sony Worldwide Studios will release 4 Disc and 4 Digital titles by spring. Large lead in for Knack, one of the 8 titles.

Assassin's Creed IV, Killzone Shadow Fall, Doki-Doki Universe, unknown Japanese title, Drive Club, Knack, Need for Speed Rivals, unknown Japanese title, Battlefield 4, Fifa 14, Hohokun (sp), Resodun, InFamous Second Son, Wolfenstein The New Order, Psycho Break, Thief, Strider, Dying Light, Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn, Witcher 3, Watch Dogs, Kingdom Hearts 3, The Crew, The Order:1886, Final Fantasy XV, Phantom Breaker Overdrive and Metal Gear Solid The Phantom Pain.
Final Fantasy 14 beta drops the same day as the PS3. PS3 FF14 players cane use their same accounts on the PS4 version.
A lengthy Watch Dogs trailer was shown. 60 minutes of additional play included for the PS3 and PS4 versions of Watch Dogs.
A new game from Shinji Mikami, Psycho Break was shown. Looks very much like Resident Evil, which isn't bad.
New PS4 games announced:
From Koei Tecmo, Dynasty Warriors will launch on the same day on PS3 and PS4. Much larger scale on the PS4. Better lighting, TONS more enemies on screen, and higher res models.
From Sega, Yakuza Ishin. Short video, taking place in Kyoto at the end of the Edo Period. Bringing back old and new characters to the series. A new improvement over the PS3 version. Crossplay between PS4 and Vita versions. It will be a Japanese launch title.
Lily Bergamo from GungHo and GrassHopper Manufacture. Suda51's new title and it shows from the trailer shown. Labeled as an "Extreme Action" game. A companion app is in the planning for it. To be released something in 2014.
From Kadokawa Games, a Strategy RPG called Natural Doctrine for the PS3, PS4 and Vita.
Guilty Gear Xrd Sign was shown, and it still looks awesome.
From Level 5, Wonder Flick, an JRPG with a persistant world accross the PS4, Vita and Smartphones.
Earth Defense Forces was briefly shown.
Dream C Club Host Girls On Stage for the PS4.
From Namco Bandai Games, Mobile Suit Gundam and IdolMaster.
More Deep Down from Capcom. ONO takes the stage! It's an online, medieval looking game. Game maps and monster are generated automatically. Similar concept to Assassin Creed's Animus system. Monsters are generated on the fly, so you can face many variations throughout the game.
In Japan, beside Ustream and Twitch, the PS4 will also use Nico Nico.

PS3 to PS4 discounts for Assassin's Creed IV, Call Of Duty Ghosts and Dynasty Warriors.
PlayStation Plus titles Resogun and Drive Club will be free.

The PSVITA TV was announced! A TV based Vita System that uses a PS controller! Can use Video and Music services available on the Vita. Plays Vita, PSP and PSone Classics! Has a Vita game slot. PSP and PSOne game downloads. Avalaible in Japan for around $100 or with a Dual Shock 3 and 8GB card for around $150! Also supports remote play, so you can put multiple units in other rooms and buy 1 PS4 and play it in any room! This is actually a game change for me!
