While I am not a fan of Tecmo Koei's nickle and dime technique for DOA5 DLC, this one has me interested. Well, that and I am a DOA fan! Just in time for Halloween, Team Ninja is giving use a FREE Halloween skinned stage, Haunted Lorelei, and a Costume Pack for $25. It may seem like quite a bit (it is, costing more than half of the MSRP of DOA5U), but you do get a Halloween costume for every character.


Some are pure fan service, some are strange and some are just awesome!

Team NINJA begins the Halloween celebration today with the release of a free stage named “Haunted Lorelei” for DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE and the free-to-play DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE: CORE FIGHTERS. The re-skinned fan favorite stage takes from the holiday vibe with new music, lighting effects and an overall party atmosphere accessible through the patch released today for the PlayStation®3 version and tomorrow, October 16 for the Xbox 360® version. Updated: Question: Should A Cosplayer Be Kicked Out Of PAX East For Doing Her Job?

Day 1 Left, Day 2 Right Just to be clear, Jessica Nigri was asked to leave and change, she was allowed back in... But on day 1 of PAX east, she went dressed as Lollipop Chainsaw's star, Juliet Starling, without issue. Day 2 she went dressed as the same character in one of the multiple alt costumes and asked to leave to change. She returned in the cheerleader uniform from day 1 she was asked to change again, cover up, or leave entirely! Did I mention she was at the WB Games booth and is the official character model for the game? So what's the point of this post? Most of the Grotto staff come from a place in the US where people can go grocery shopping wearing A LOT less than what Nigri had on! Now if she were dressed in one of the alternate costumes from Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, then I can understand the issue. What do you guys think?
