Chappie has the rare distinction of being a movie that I both love and hate. I love it for its violence, humor, and subject matter. I hate it for its violence, humor and subject matter. I went in to Chappie expecting one type of movie, and I got a completely different type of movie. Both are the types of movies that I like, but one wasn’t the type of movie I was wanting to see. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry, I’ll elaborate.
