Mighty No 9 Finally OUT!

Image
No, Hell hasn't frozen over! Mighty No 9 is finally out and KickStarter Backers should start receiving their codes from Humble Bundle. There is "some" bad news though... A bug on the Xbox 360 version is delaying the game a few days and the Vita version is still in development (PlayStation version is cross buy between the PS3, PS4 and Vita versions). We are just waiting for the PSN store to update to try out our code! Also, the 3DS version is labeled as "Coming Soon" for all regions and the WiiU version for Australia and Europe as well as the soundtrack are labeled "Coming Really Soon" with the delayed Xbox 360 version. So, after YEARS worth of delays, we finally get the game in hand! The only downside? Some stores broke street date for the physical versions, so some people have been able to play the game for the last couple of days...

Mighty Number 9.... Delayed Again.

Image
In something that is finally starting to frustrate me, but has frustrated everyone else LONG ago, Mighty Number 9 will not make it's February Launch date, pushed back to "Spring." As we all know, that means April-June. Now if you just preordered, this isn't much of an issue, but for KickStarters, we are already about a year late (if not more). Current problem is blamed on it's Netcode and the version of the Unreal engine they are using no longer being officially supported. Full message from Keiji Inafune after the break.

Sega Releases Sonic 2 And Hardware Based Themes For The 3DS!!!

Image
Today, US 3DS gamers get a chance to play Sega's latest 3D Classic, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 AND new 3DS themes based on classic Sega hardware! Sega Genesis and GameGear themes are available NOW with other hardware variants coming in the next few months, ending with the Sega Dreamcast theme! Update: The Genesis theme plays the Sega CD title screen music and says "SEGA" when you start an app, like many of the genesis and Sega CD games from Sega did in the 90's! Read more after the break!

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Out Today

Image
In a genre that seems to be overlooked, XSEED Games and Marvelous USA gives gamers a good reason to come back! Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson makes its US debut in a "Double D" edition that comes with a 2 disc soundtrack! Expanding upon the 3DS original, Senran Kagura is a 2.5D beat-'em-up. Now if your expecting the more "Musou" style of the PS Vita or upcoming PS4 version, be prepared as it's more of a classic beat-'em'up, with a more "adult" flair.  Now the series is rated M for a reason, so do not buy this for your 7 year old!!! Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Has Gone Gold And Has A Release Date!

To celebrate, Senran Kagura Burst will be on sale in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99 and if you have a save file for SK Burst, you'll get Ikaruga's brother, Murasame, for FREE. If not, he'll be available for $4.99. Watch the launch trailer and read the full press release after the break

Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labryinth Arrives Next June, In Japan On The 3DS

Image
So Another serious Persona game, except the characters are SD (or chibi if you will), which does look interesting. With characters from Persona 3, Persona 4, and some new ones, I really want to play this! Now if Nintendo DIDN'T region lock the 3DS, then we wouldn't have to wait for Atlus to translate this for us westerners! Source: http://p-atlus.jp/pq/
