Well, if anyone remembers the 1st live action Street Fighter movie, then the sunject of this post would make sense. If not, it's a play on words from the 1st live action Street Fighter movie. DO NOT WATCH IT! Well, back on subject, Capcom has shown off Charlie in action for the 1st time AND a teaser for everyone's favorite megalomaniac, M. Bison (or Vega in Japan). Even better? Street Fighter V will also hold what Capcom is calling the largest beta test of it's kind! The Most Important Announcements From Sony's PlayStation Experience!

Image
Well, for us at the Grotto anyways. Sony and it's partners showed of some amazing new titles, but it was 2 announcements that made us jump for joy! Not only will Ultra Street Fighter IV make an appearance on the PS4, but Street Fighter V was announced! Now the bad news, Ultra will be a PS4 exclusive, But Street Fighter V is a PS4 and PC exclusive! Now this is shocking, as Capcom and Microsoft seemed to be buddies on various titles and Xbox One fans will not be happy. Some interesting wording was used though. It was said that the PS4 will be the only place to get this version of SFV. What is awesome is that for the first time, PC players will be able to battle it out with console players. Also awesome, the 1st playable build will be at this weekend's Capcom Cup tournament in San Fransisco! Now, will Capcom and Sony give us the ability to use PS3 fightsticks??? We Interviewed The Cast Of Street Fighter Assassin's Fist At SDCC!

Image
What do you think the reason that Street Fighter Assassin's Fist kicked so much ass? Plain and simple the pure LOVE of the Street Fighter universe that Joey Ansah has. After the Street Fighter panel at SDCC, he sat outside of the room with fans just talking Street Fighter for a good half hour to 45 minutes. You could tell this was a project near and dear to his heart and he has made a better Street Fighter movie than Hollywood did on a much smaller budget. Remember, the DVD and Blu-Ray land this October with an additional 15 minutes NOT seen on Machinima, So go to Amazon and BUY IT !

We're Back From SDCC

D&D Chronicles Of Mystara Is OUT!!!!!!!!!

Image
One of my favorite Capcom side scrolling beat'em ups is FINALLY out in the US on home consoles! Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara combines D&D Tower of Doom and its sequel, Shadow over Mystara into 1 downloadable game for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3... The Wii U version is incoming. If you live in Japan, you can buy a physical copy of the game in a collector's edition later this year. HINT, there is rarely any region coding on PS3 games. The best part, besides having an affordable copy of the game? 4 Player LOCAL and ONLINE drop in and out support!!! So your friends can come and go as they please, and you can keep playing! Maybe now I can retire my CPS 2 Tower of Doom board? Also, for you PC players, Steam has a deal going on right now! You can buy 4 copies for the price of 3!  You can watch the launch trailer and read Capcom's press release after the jump.

Street Fighter 4 for Android!...in Japan

Image
Greetings Geeks! It's a step in the right direction. Street Fighter 4 has been enjoying a long life on iOS devices and a meager existence on Android as an LG exclusive. Well no more. Capcom has released SF4 for Android en mass! Albeit it's only in Japan. The word is that the game does have an English mode, so rumors are running about that a US release can't be far behind. Knowing what I do about Capcom and Android...I'm not holding my breath just yet. But I am wishing and hoping. Check out SFIV on Google Play Japan
