Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Available On PSN!

Image
The girls from Gameindustri, who proved to be too much for my PS3's feeble heart, killing it, are now available on PSN! This is a great game that actually did cause my PS3 to YLOD! Full press release after the break

Ys: Memories of Celceta Out Now For the PlayStation Vita!!!!

I'll have to admit, I have a soft spot for the Ys series. Since the first time I fired up Ys Book I & II on the Turbo Grafx-16 CD in 1994 I was hooked. I have played through that game at least 15 times that summer! Since I have played every US release and a couple of Japan PC releases. I even have the intro music from Book II as my phone's ringtone for the past decade! Ys: Memories of Celceta is a massive reimagining of Ys IV, the of the few Ys game to NEVER get a US release. Coming in 2 versions, a standard and Silver Anniversary Edition that includes a 3 Disc soundtrack, clothe map, compass, and artbook, You know my inner Geek if on overload! You can red the full press release after the break

So, The Future Is Now! Next Gen Wars In Full Effect!

I love being able to use Snk's Neo-Geo "The Future Is Now" phrase! Now that the Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are all out there, how is the gaming community enjoying them? Over the past few decades, specs have never seemed as big as there are now! In the 90's, the SNES was capable of visually better games, where the Genesis was able to toss pixels around at insane speeds. Now we have 1 console running on a PowerPC CPU (Wii U) while the other 2 run on multi-core X86 CPUs from AMD. All 3 also run on AMD GPUs.

Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold Announced For The PlayStation 3

Arc System Works is keeping busy these days. With a new Guilty Gear and BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, they are also following up the popular Persona 4 Arena with Persona 4: the Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold for the PS3 and Arcade! Yes, Arcades do exist in Japan still, and they are awesome! No word on a US release or an XBOX release yet... Source: http://p-atlus.jp/p4u2/

Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labryinth Arrives Next June, In Japan On The 3DS

So Another serious Persona game, except the characters are SD (or chibi if you will), which does look interesting. With characters from Persona 3, Persona 4, and some new ones, I really want to play this! Now if Nintendo DIDN'T region lock the 3DS, then we wouldn't have to wait for Atlus to translate this for us westerners! Source: http://p-atlus.jp/pq/

What?! Persona 4: Dancing All Night Announced For The Vita?!?

Well, the is a lot of Persona News coming from Japan, and this is a strange one to say the least. In the Fall of 2014, in Japan, we will get a Persona Dancing Game for the Vita. I'm a huge fan of the Persona 4 game and anime soundtracks, but never thought a dancing game was needed. Source: http://p-atlus.jp/p4d/
