Synology's DSM 5.2 Beta Now Available!

As the title didn't give it away, Synology has released the latest beta for its DiskStation Manager this morning. DSM 5.2 hits public beta with new features like AppArmor, SMB 3 Encryption, Docker integration and more! We personally haven't had issues with previous beta releases and can't wait to try this out! Synology DS414j Released!

Synology has just released a new monster for their "J" line of entry level NAS devices. The DS414j not only includes DSM 5.0, which is a huge leap over previous versions, but this 4 hard drive NAS also includes a dual core CPU and USB 3.0! At just under $400, it's not a bad deal. So, How Is The Surface 2 And Surface Pro 2 Doing So Far?

Well, despite no hard numbers, a Microsoft spokesperson did say: “The response to Surface has been exciting to see. With regard to specific sales numbers, we have nothing to share.” Regardless, you cannot deny the Surface 2 line is definitely impressive hardware. Read more about the Surface line here

Synology DSM 4.3 Now Available!

From what was a smooth beta, for me at least, Synology has announced that DSM 4.3 is now golden and ready for your NAS!!! I have has zero issues with the beta, and the including of DS File for Windows Phone worked great, after enabling WebDav! Read the full PR after the break!
