Attack On Titan Will Hit Toonami In May!

Image
While people know I am NOT a huge Cartoon Network fan due to cancellations/non-renewals of great shows, while placing crap shows in their place. The Toonami block is a different story. Full of some great anime titles and other shows that truly fit the vibe has been growing back into my good graces.  Next month, Cartoon Network earns MAJOR brownie points by airing Attack on Titan. Having already watched AoT, I am left to wonder if the violence/gore will be  left in place or edited, but either way, it's a GREAT show! Rad the full PR at Funimation's site

Thoughts: Green Lantern and Young Justice series Finales

Image
In a move that once again caused a good series to be cut short, Cartoon Network has failed to renew both Green Lantern The Animated Series and Young Justice. The move repeats what happened to both Justice League Unlimited and the Thundercats reboot. Unlike Thundercats, both series were able to complete their current story arcs.

Cartoon Network cancels fan favorites...again.

Well, first Cartoon Network doesn't renew the Thunder cats reboot, which was a great show, and now they do the same again. Young Justice and Green Lantern TAS are not on the networks fall schedule. Not quite sure who makes the choices over at Carton Network, but they need to find a new job. The Green Lantern wasn't a fave of mine, but Young Justice has been getting darker and is a perfect candidate for Adult Swim. Especially compared to some of the garbage on it now.

Weird Al, Alice Cooper and more on Cartoon Network's “Annoying Orange” Holiday Special

Image
If you know me personally, you then know I personally can't stand most "children" programming on TV these days. Personally I LOATHE the annoying orange show, but this does tell me something. Obviously adults seem to what the show enough that Weird Al, Brent Michaels and Alice Cooper will be on November 26th's Holiday special. These guys were selling hits when I was just a kid, and I don't picture most kids knowing who any of these guys are... Either way, this may be the ONLY episode of this show that I purposely watch.. More after the jump...

Cartoon Network yanks DC Nation until next year!

Image
Well, today I get home and decide to watch both "The Green Lantern"  and "Young Justice: Invasion" only to see Dragons recorded instead. A quick Google search and all was revealed, and it sucks! For some stupid reason CN decided to pull the DC Nation block until January! No reason, no warning, nothing. Bad call CN, bad call. What do you guys think..... And yes, if you listened to the Moka a couple of weeks back, you know that some of us don't think highly of the lantern, but I want your opinions on CN's decision.

Toonami Returns!

Image
Cartoon Network has just revealed that Toonami will return on May 26th! Toonami first started as a block of anime in an after school time slot before moving to Adult Swim with more adult oriented anime. Now what will Cartoon Network offer in Toonami? New anime or the same stuff that's on now? We'll find out soon enough... Source: Toonami

Review - Thundercats Season 1

Image
I must admit that I have not seen the old Thundercats but as I have heard from my siblings it was a great show, so imagine my surprise when I heard they were going to start it up again? I figured I would give it The Rule of 3 and I'm glad I did. This show has everything you want, fight scenes, sibling rivalry, comedy, a good plot line and CATS! (Cat person!)
