Just as everyone is getting swept away with CES news, Koei Tecmo snuck in some news today as well. DOA6 has been pushed back to March 1st to "further polish" the game. Not sure how much 2 weeks will give them as they would need to start pressing discs soon. I guess we can expect a Day 1 patch for sure. You can see  the full press release after the break

This February, get ready to enter the ring with the latest version of DOA. After what felt like a few year's worth of non-stop costume DLC for DOA5, DOA6 will finally grace PS4, Xbox One and PCs. Full press release after the break

The Dreamcast classics return this August as Sega will release both Shenmue 1 and 2 across various platforms ahead of Shenmue 3's release! This time, the Xbox One, PS4 and PC will play host to these gems. These 2 games should be enough to keep players busy, along with everything else releasing over the next few months, to keep you 100% busy until the release of the 3rd title. Valkyria Chronicles finally has a US and UK release date! On September 25, you will be able to pick up the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and on PC! Even better? There is a "Memoirs from Battle" edition that includes a replica tank!! Read more

At Sony's E3 press conference, Capcom dropped a little treat. On January 25, 2019, Resident Evil returns in a BIG way. Using Capcom's RE Engine, this remake seems to be the definitive version of the fan favorite title. Even better, the title will be released on Playstation 4, Xbox One AND PC. On March 6, PC players will get to join in the fun console gamers have been having for well over a year as Final Fatasy XV lands in a new Royal Edition. While PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to get in on this new version of the game, PC players will be smiling with 4K and 8K support... yes, 8K, as well as some new additions. The latest "musou" game from Koei Tecmo is coming to the US!!! Berserk and the Band of the Hawk lands this coming February 21 for the PS4 in stores and digitally for the Vita and PC!! It's nice to see developers realizing that the Vita still has a following in the US! Trailer and Press Release after the break!

No, Hell hasn't frozen over! Mighty No 9 is finally out and KickStarter Backers should start receiving their codes from Humble Bundle. There is "some" bad news though... A bug on the Xbox 360 version is delaying the game a few days and the Vita version is still in development (PlayStation version is cross buy between the PS3, PS4 and Vita versions). We are just waiting for the PSN store to update to try out our code! Also, the 3DS version is labeled as "Coming Soon" for all regions and the WiiU version for Australia and Europe as well as the soundtrack are labeled "Coming Really Soon" with the delayed Xbox 360 version. So, after YEARS worth of delays, we finally get the game in hand! The only downside? Some stores broke street date for the physical versions, so some people have been able to play the game for the last couple of days...

In something that is finally starting to frustrate me, but has frustrated everyone else LONG ago, Mighty Number 9 will not make it's February Launch date, pushed back to "Spring." As we all know, that means April-June. Now if you just preordered, this isn't much of an issue, but for KickStarters, we are already about a year late (if not more). Current problem is blamed on it's Netcode and the version of the Unreal engine they are using no longer being officially supported. Full message from Keiji Inafune after the break.

Not much to say besides the fact that DegiGames will bring Cave's Mushihimesama, or "Bug Princess" to Steam on November 5th. Hopefully more of Cave's "bullet hell" games come this way soon after!

While the news buzzing around the internet makes it seem that Sony HATES the PlayStation Vita, offering almost no 1st party support besides hack breaking firmware updates, publisher XSEED Games announced the released date for the PC and Vita Compatible PSP game Legend Of Heroes Trails in the Sky! On October 29th, in less than a week from now, you'll be able to download this gem for $29.99 on both platforms. Now I am not going to lie... the last Legend of Heroes game I played was Dragon Slayer on the Turbo Duo in the 90's, but I have a soft spot for Falcom. In something that rarely seems to happen, Idea Factory International has bumped up the release for Hyperdimention Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation to May 29! To sweeten this more, as if an early release isn't enough, there will be a 50% price drop for the first few days!!! How could you NOT want this? Read the press release after the break!

HyperDimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is the third iteration of this game released in the US. First on the PlayStation 3 by NIS, the "Re;Birthed"  on the Vita and now the PC by Idea Factory International. With that said, instead of doing a review of the game that has been reviewed multiple times on 2 other platforms, we figured giving our impressions on the PC version would be more appropriate. Well, if anyone remembers the 1st live action Street Fighter movie, then the sunject of this post would make sense. If not, it's a play on words from the 1st live action Street Fighter movie. DO NOT WATCH IT! Well, back on subject, Capcom has shown off Charlie in action for the 1st time AND a teaser for everyone's favorite megalomaniac, M. Bison (or Vega in Japan). Even better? Street Fighter V will also hold what Capcom is calling the largest beta test of it's kind! The latest revision to Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja's fighting franchise is now available in the US. Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round is now available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $39.99 in both digital and physical editions or for $29.99, digital only, on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Well, it's just about time for the Last Round of DOA 5! Koei Tecmo released the launch trailer today while also confirming a delay for the PC version.
