Synology Announces The RS18016xs+ And RX1216sas

Image
Synology has announced the release of the 12-bay RS18016xs+ and it's expansion, the RX1216sas. These enterprise level network storage devices can be expanded beyond 1PB,  yes, a petabyte! By adding additional RX1216sas devices, a single RS18016xs+ can manage over 180 individual drives! As a current Synology user and former enterprise employee, this seems like a great and easy way to add tons of storage without the headaches usually involved in adding and configuring enterprise level storage. The RS18016xs+ is priced at $7,599.99 and the RX1216sas is $2,999.99. Read the press release after the break
