What do you get when you mix the idiotic stoner charm of Bill and Ted with the sardonic humor of the Crypt Keeper? You pretty much get Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. Todd Smith is a wannabe rocker at Crowley High School. He and his trusty one-armed (literally) sidekick is Curtis fancy themselves to be Rock and Roll stars in the making. Greetings Geeks, This is an interesting situation. OnLive Desktop is a service that offers a streaming Windows 7 desktop to you whenever you want it. It also offers you 2GB of online storage to go with that. It's a VERY impressive system that works extremely well. So naturally, something must be wrong with it. Well Joe Matz, the VP of Worldwide Licensing over at Microsoft is now saying that OnLive Desktop may be in violation of Windows 7 licensing. Matz stated that the company is "actively engaged with OnLive" in the hopes of "bringing them into a properly licensed scenario." OnLive says "We have never commented on any licensing agreements." So this raises the question: How long before this gets resolved? And what happens if it doesn't? We'll keep you posted on this story as it develops. Source: Microsoft

Greetings Geeks, It's my pleasure to introduce you to Google Play. Google is (basically) saying goodbye to the "Android Market". This new conglomeration of popular Google features is now the go to source for all your entertainment. I'm going to break this down into simple terms. Google is renaming Books, Music and Android Market into Google Play. People who use these services already are simply getting a facelift. Do these features sound familiar? Buy a book on your desktop and it's instantly available on your Tablet. Buy a song on your phone and it's instantly available on your Desktop. The only feature I'm not sure of is the Video feature to start a movie on your phone and pick up where you left off on your desktop. But I admittedly never used Google Video before, so I have no frame of reference. Get Google's description and a trailer for the product after the jump.
