First, a confession. I am a Google whore. If there is one company whose products and services I completely swoon over, it’s Google. From Search to Google+, I use them all. I love the tight integration across apps and services. And all for my favorite price...FREE. I also adore Android. What a great OS! So well woven into all of Google’s services and apps that I can’t imagine using any other OS for my phone. I’ve had a slew of Android phones and tablets. All of which have done everything I could hope for at the time except for one glaring detail... I am an artist. I love to draw. At home, I had a standard desktop computer and a Wacom Cintiq 12wx drawing tablet. As an artist, there was nothing better than being able to create right in my computer. Greetings Geeks, This is an interesting situation. OnLive Desktop is a service that offers a streaming Windows 7 desktop to you whenever you want it. It also offers you 2GB of online storage to go with that. It's a VERY impressive system that works extremely well. So naturally, something must be wrong with it. Well Joe Matz, the VP of Worldwide Licensing over at Microsoft is now saying that OnLive Desktop may be in violation of Windows 7 licensing. Matz stated that the company is "actively engaged with OnLive" in the hopes of "bringing them into a properly licensed scenario." OnLive says "We have never commented on any licensing agreements." So this raises the question: How long before this gets resolved? And what happens if it doesn't? We'll keep you posted on this story as it develops. Source: Microsoft

Greetings Geeks! Pay attention because this could be a game changer. Ubuntu is now fishing around for phone developers to embed their Ubuntu OS into your Android phone. That's right! You would essentially be able to take your entire computing experience with you in your phone. When you come home, drop your phone in a dock, and utilize one of the worlds best Linux distros!  A full featured desktop in your phone. I'm so giddy about the idea that I can hardly stand it! There's nothing official as far as release or anything as of yet. Like I said, Canonical is fishing around to see if Developers would like to include the feature in their phones.
