So what you see above is what Vuzix's and Nokia's new technology is capable of. A holographic type overlay that is very "Start Wars"sie! The best part? It can be used with standard glasses frames. For those of us that have prescription glasses, this is awesome news! We already had a Vuzix interview scheduled for CES, so we will be able to see this in action! The Lumia 2520, a Windows 8 RT tablet Well, Nokia had a lot to show before its livestream took a dump. Some new ASHA devices, not 1 but 2 phablets, and Nokia's new tablet! I could go on and on, but some of us have to go to work in the morning, so you can read Nokia's PR after the break, which includes specs, links and more!

Well, this was truly unexpected. For a total of 5.4 BILLION Euro, Microsoft now owns Nokia's hardware and services divisions and paying to use Nokia's patents. While I do generally like Microsoft as a whole, when a company buys another like this it tends to stifle innovation and originality. Let's hope that doesn't happen here.

During this year's San Diego Comic Con, Engadget threw a GDGT event where Nokia was present. There I was given a near fully charged " POW! #Nokia POW er" branded DC-16 battery. Just in time as my phone, a Lumia 900, was in battery saver mode! So, how did Nokia's little gift do?

This year during the San Diego Comic Con, Engadget held a GDGT Live meetup at Stingaree. Among many of the sponsors, Nokia what there showing off the Lumia 1020! So I did what any full blooded geek would do, I asked if I could play with it!!! After a few minutes, I realized that this is the best camera phone on the market and could easily replace most point and shoot cameras!

Nokia just sent out a press release announcing one of the worst kept secrets, Verizon's Lumia 928. A CDMA variant of last years Lumia 920, which ISN'T a bad thing. Verizon customers can now experience what GSM users have for almost a year, quite possibly the best Windows Phone 8 device! Read the full PR aft the jump

We finally managed to get a hold of a Nokia Lumia 920 for 2 weeks! For those that don't know, this is Nokia's current flagship Windows Phone 8 device. Coming from a Lumia 900 running Windows Phone 7.8, I was pleasantly surprised. From the build quality, weight, size, and screen; the first few moments had me smiling.  I have used this phone exclusively, and you can read my thoughts after the jump!

Between the big Windows Phone 8 releases last week and the Nexus 4 this week, there will a lot of consumers flocking to stores this holiday season.
