Not Sure How, But A 20+ Year Old Game Made My E3!

Image
Not sure who at Limited Run Games thought this was a good idea, but they deserve a raise! While I have owned the Japanese version of this game since 1997, we now get a US, English release of Castlevania Rondo of Blood, aka Dracula X, on the Turbo Duo! This means if you have a US or Japanese Turbo Duo/Duo R/Dup RX or a Turbo Grafx CD/PC Engine CD with Super System Card 3.0 or Arcade Card Pro, you can legitimately purchase this game or play it without having to patch it and waste away your CD drive with a CDR! Granted, LRG did announce a lot today, including Zombie Ate My Neighbors, the Shantae series on PS5 and more. So read all about it after the break

Sony To Release "Masamune" PS4 Update Next Week (Updated: Out Now)

Image
Well, next week Sony will release the 2.0 firmware update for your PS4 adding things like backgrounds, a USB music player and more! To see what Sony has planned for Masamune, LOOK HERE UPDATE: Forgot to mention that FW2.0 is out now. Some PS4 owners seem to have issues, but not all do. It is a step in the right direction, but I still prefer the PS3's XMB over this. Source: PlayStation Twitter

PlayStation Japan posted this video after its press conference. Besides Showing Axl and I-No for the first time, it also confirms a PS3 and PS4 version! We'll have to wait for TGS probably to see if the Xbox 360 and Xbox One get the same kind of love.

From The GameStop Expo... Sony PS4 Slides And Major Nelson!

Image
With the GameStop Expo open to the public today, we had a chance to sit down for both Sony's and Microsoft's PR sessions. It was funny watching both sides egging each other on. Sony was almost all video, where Major Nelson held a QA session. Sony showed a video that said "We Didn't build a Box". Major Nelson stated "We're not going to bombard you with video, we want an open dialog! Too bad everyone that asked Major Nelson either asked questions that were answered at Gamescon or worse. ! person asked "What incentive will Microsoft give to the fans that were disenchanted with the flip flop on policies concerning the Xbox One?" Microsoft Listened to the fans, that was incentive enough in my book. Another person asked if Microsoft would be freely sending all Kinect data to the NSA! HE was kinda booed away! After the break you can see the static slides from Sony's presentation and well, a pic of Major Nelson.
