In case you may have missed it between SDCC, Gamescon and PAX; the GameStop Expo is this coming Wednesday! Think of it as a mini E3 ir Gamescon where the people that matter, the consumer, can attend!!! We'll be there with pictures, video and whatever else we can think of!!!

Mad Catz just announce that they will be releasing a force feedback wheel for the Xbox One. They a stating a "Holiday 2013" launch, but are trying to be there at the Xbox One launch. No price has been announced yet, but considering it's look, Forza players may need to shell out a bit more.... Slightly unrelated.... I still have my Dreamcast Mad Catz Wheel... and it still works! What do we have here? It's our first Video Review! The Geeky Guru is back on camera with Kaiju's first video appearance. From Up On Poppy Hill will be released on September 3rd in the US by GKIDS/Cinedigm. Yes, that is correct, I did not mention Disney as  they are not involved with this release. As a departure from standard Ghibli fair, like "The Wind Rises", this movie is a period piece set in 1963 Japan. As such, it's not a children's film, but more for young adults and older. There is no violence or nudity or anything like that, it's just where the story goes. As being our first video review, please tell us what we can do to make things better.

NIS America has dropped the latest trailer for Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Coming this fall for the Playstation 3, Japanses Strategy RPG fans have plenty to be excited for! Watch the trailer after the break!

I have to admit.... I am a bit more excited about the Xbox One launch exclusives more that the PS4 launch exclusives... The cross platforms games will be very similar across the board. I will admit thought, Assassin's Creed 4 and Watch Dogs I have a chance to play at SDCC on the PS4 and they look GREAT! This was just shown off at Gamescom and has me conflicted. One one hand, it's freaking Shadow Of The Beast, the Psygnosis made sidescroller from the Amiga and 16-bit console gaming days. On the other, Sony closed Studio Liverpool, the studio formerly known as Psygnosis earlier this year. It feels kinda like a punch to the face to show a revival of a title that was well regarded by many AFTER they shut you down. Visually, the game was ahead of it's time, with bright, solid colors; parallax scrolling on the ground and skies, and a great soundtrack. I hope that this game does get released and is great!
