While most of the time I prefer a title to remain unchanged when being brought over, sometimes a small tweak helps it just a bit.... Back on subject, The Superdimension series has always visualized the console "wars" in an interesting way, but now Sega "officially" joins the fight! The Sega Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive (Genesis in the US), Saturn and Dreamcast join the cast in this Vita game landing next month.  For now, enjoy the US intro and some screenshots!

On September 9th, 1999, Sega launched a console that probably was too ahead of it's time in the US. While the system did die a VERY early death in the US (I blame retailers telling people to wait for Sony's PS2) in Japan, the console lasted a bit longer. The last licensed game was released in 2008, which was Border Down, a reissue. Even after all that, unlicensed games are still giving the Dreamcast love. Games like Pier Solar and Ghost Blade are giving Sega's final machine life still. So today, if you still own a Dreamcast, fire it up and give it some love.

The Dreamcast and GameCube classic and fan favorite, Ikaruga, is back, and now you can play it anywhere! Developed by Treasure, Ikaruga has been seen as many as a spiritual successor to the Sega Saturn favorite Radiant Silvergun. One thing is for sure... Ikaruga is most definitely a Bullet Hell Shooter and is far from easy.
