Greetings Geeks! The roads in California are about to get a whole lot more interesting. Check this post from Engadget. Google just chalked up one of the more important victories for driverless cars . California Governor Jerry Brown has signed bill SB1298 into law, formalizing the legal permissions and safety standards needed to let automated vehicles cruise on state-owned roads. While the bill lets anyone move forward with their plans, it's clear from the ceremony that local technology darling Google is the primary impetus for the measure: Brown visited Google's Mountain View headquarters to put ink to paper, and Google co-founder Sergey Brin oversaw the signing with his Google Glass eyewear on full display. Greetings Geeks! So my appearance on MOKA was a ton of fun and now the boys in DC posted the full audio of the show. Have a listen! The Menagerie of Kick-Assery: MOKAsst 075 : WTF DC?! One year (and some change) later and the "New 52" is still standing. However, certain creative teams and a handful of titles are not.

In a bit of bad news... Nintendo announced that the Wii U will be region locked. While this will probably not affect most people, it irks me as I do like the occasional import. Considering I own imports on the Turbo Grafx 16 CD (and cards with adapter) , Sega Saturn (mod switch), PSX (chipped), PS2 (chipped), PS3, PSP, Gamecube (soft mod) and Wii (chipped) it makes it annoying that I will have to work some Voodoo to get my import fix. That or buy another system just for imports!

These past 24 hours Bandai Namco have actually had me drooling! First all the Macross announcements, and now Harada, The series producer for Tekken, is pushing for a localization of Project X Zone! For those that don't know, Project X Zone is a 3DS RPG that takes Sega, Capcom, and Namco characters and tosses them into a blender. This years TGS seemed to be a bit light in console news, but Bandai Namco did hold a Macross 30th Anniversary Celebration! They had the Voice Actress for Ranka Lee, Megumi Nakajima, hold a mini concert as well as the winner of the 30th Anniversary Miss Macross Idol Search, Haruka Chisuga, making her Macross singing debut!
