We Attended The LVL UP Expo In Vegas This Weekend!

With another year under its belt, the Lvl Up Expo seems to be growing quite nicely. We were shocked to see that the line to enter The Cashman Center in Vegas went from the main entrance and went the entire length of of the building. A HUGE jump compared to last year.

While still a young "con", the people behind Lvl Up did a good job bringing the anime and gaming communities in Vegas something that seems to finally be gaining traction over the past few years, A place where fans can get together to celebrate what they love. With video games, card games, vendors and more, we hope Lvl Up continues to grow.

Greeting Geeks, In case you haven't checked it out yet, Nickelodeon has released their new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. As a general disclaimer: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MICHAEL BAY'S TURTLES PROJECT . To put it simply, it's Teen Titans meets Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003). Updated: Question: Should A Cosplayer Be Kicked Out Of PAX East For Doing Her Job?

Day 1 Left, Day 2 Right Just to be clear, Jessica Nigri was asked to leave and change, she was allowed back in... But on day 1 of PAX east, she went dressed as Lollipop Chainsaw's star, Juliet Starling, without issue. Day 2 she went dressed as the same character in one of the multiple alt costumes and asked to leave to change. She returned in the cheerleader uniform from day 1 she was asked to change again, cover up, or leave entirely! Did I mention she was at the WB Games booth and is the official character model for the game? So what's the point of this post? Most of the Grotto staff come from a place in the US where people can go grocery shopping wearing A LOT less than what Nigri had on! Now if she were dressed in one of the alternate costumes from Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, then I can understand the issue. What do you guys think?
