Dead Or Alive 6 Delayed

Just as everyone is getting swept away with CES news, Koei Tecmo snuck in some news today as well. DOA6 has been pushed back to March 1st to "further polish" the game. Not sure how much 2 weeks will give them as they would need to start pressing discs soon. I guess we can expect a Day 1 patch for sure.

Team NINJA Changes Worldwide Release Date in Order to Further Polish Upcoming Fighter

Burlingame, Calif. - January 7, 2019 – KOEI TECMO America and Team NINJA announced today that DEAD OR ALIVE 6 will now be released worldwide on March 1, 2019. The change in date – originally scheduled for a February 15, 2019 release – is due to the developer’s desire to further enhance and balance the hotly-anticipated fighting game.

“The title's development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience,” said Yohei Shimbori, the game’s Producer and Director. “I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.” 

DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is currently in development for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System; Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft; and digitally on Windows PC via Steam®. As a general disclaimer: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MICHAEL BAY'S TURTLES PROJECT . To put it simply, it's Teen Titans meets Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003). Updated: Question: Should A Cosplayer Be Kicked Out Of PAX East For Doing Her Job?

Day 1 Left, Day 2 Right Just to be clear, Jessica Nigri was asked to leave and change, she was allowed back in... But on day 1 of PAX east, she went dressed as Lollipop Chainsaw's star, Juliet Starling, without issue. Day 2 she went dressed as the same character in one of the multiple alt costumes and asked to leave to change. She returned in the cheerleader uniform from day 1 she was asked to change again, cover up, or leave entirely! Did I mention she was at the WB Games booth and is the official character model for the game? So what's the point of this post? Most of the Grotto staff come from a place in the US where people can go grocery shopping wearing A LOT less than what Nigri had on! Now if she were dressed in one of the alternate costumes from Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball, then I can understand the issue. What do you guys think?
